Oh dear, I'm desperate! Every time Vanessa (my BaCC founder) gets in the carpool she returns on the lot after 5 seconds and a Bad Gosub error appears. This also happens when I try to get her to walk to work. It's okay only after I send her and she's already late. But that is not a solution because she'll get fired and gahh I need her to go to ( Read more... )

Are you using the job stopinator mod? When I tried it I had a similar issue. I never investigated what the conflict was but removing it fixed the problem.

Just from googling the error, it seems that the problem may be with a bad hack or download. Does this still occur if you take your downloads out? If not, then you know it is one of those doing it.

I've googled the error too, but in most of the cases the error kept appearing endlessly and it wasn't my case :( Yeah, I took my dl folder out and it was fine, so let's see if it's because the job stopinator!

Have you tried running SimWardrobe's Hack Conflict Detector?
.... On the bright side, if you need to do the 50/50 method, at least you have a clear point where you can test to see if you're getting the error.

Now that I think of it, I had this exact thing happen in my BaCC, and I'm pretty sure it was a mod conflict. So run the HCDU!

I had the same exact problem, the pets would return too.
I did what sidgwick did, took out the stopinator and my sims and pets stayed at work like normal.
I've never been able to get the Conflict Detector to work, but apparently something didn't play nice with the stopinator!

I'm glad I'm not alone!
I guess I could take the job stopinator out but that might mean cheating...I'll see if the mod that rin_sparrow and Alle suggested works.

I had the same thing happen in mine when I used the Job Stopinator. As soon as I removed it from my downloads, my founder was able to go to work. So, that's your problem right thar.

Hmm you seem quite sure :) And if that's the problem then it's not a really big deal. Hopefully taking care of the job stopinator will work, my game's just opened!
