I realized this just now:

I have a little cup on my night stand that I fill with water. I find myself getting really thirsty in the middle of the night, drink it all, wake up again and an pissed it's all gone because I have to walk to the kitchen to get more water. Th bathroom is right next to my bedroom, but I hate drinking the bathroom water.... ( Read more... )

haha...i agree that bathroom water isn't as satisfying as tap water, or the water from my fridge ice maker.

Our tap water is perfectly safe, but it tastes funny, so I always drink from the filtered water system our new fridge has.

Could a bigger glass be a solution? I thought that bathroom water was different. It certainly doesn't taste the same. Although even our kitchen water is a bit ropey so I tend to go for the bottled stuff. I wonder if you cat could get the lid off a bottle of water?

See....i could, but in lazy. I like drinking out of my mug. I have an empty water bottle on my night stand too....fiinnee I'll start using that

When my parents built the house next door to me in 1966 (which I rent out), the bathroom water tasted different from the tap water in the kitchen. Not worse or better, but different.
