We found out how long a microwave truly lasts. Actually, it's surprising. My parents microwave gave out tonite after almost 23 years. I'm anxiously awaiting 3...no 4 movies. Harry Potter 4, Rent, and Memoirs of a Geisha are all coming out at approximately the same time. I also found out today that the same person who produced Forrest Gump has bought the rights to Stephanie Plum. She just needs a script. She's also approached Reese Witherspoon about being Plum. Woo Hoo...A real paycheck!!!
Yesterday, I officially became a member of the working world (meaning I got my first paycheck.) I'm going from $700 a month to $2G's a month. Now, I am aware that it's not really a lot, but considering I was living in an apt, buying food, paying bills, and what not on $700 a month, then $2000 is looking pretty cheery. Incredibly Lonely
You know what I realized today...I don't like the weekends. I like being in school. There are people there who rely on me. They need me. They interact with me. I don't get that on the weekends. One week down, many many more to go
My first week of school is over. It was...interesting. No huge catastrophes but it was definetely challenging. There were several times where I was positive I wasn't going to make it. My students are very...quirky and very energetic. I'm constantly going after them all day long. The day definetely goes by very quickly. Sometimes. -
Passing the time
So people have been telling me I'm losing weight. I don't see it, of course, but its neat that others see it. I guess rollerblading and Pilates are worth it.
My real job is going to be starting alarmingly fast. I'm starting to get really nervous. I hope I do ok.

School's almost over
There is only one week of summer school left. Then, I will have absolutely nothing at all to do until school starts. Well, I'm going on a 7 day cruise. That'll be awesome.
