I don't think I like little kids...
I went to a really fun place for kids today...the DuPage Children's museum. It's in Naperville. The downside, though, was that we had to ride a bus to Naperville. Buses do not have AC. The buses were filled with hot and cranky little kids. Then on the way home, the buses were filled with hot, cranky, and hungry little kids. I look like ( Read more... ) -

It's been five days of summer school. The children are...energetic. Since I'm the teacher, they beat up on me. It's still fun. Tomorrow is swimming. I'm hoping that it goes well ( Read more... ) -
One week down, 4 to go...
My extreme klutziness is becoming an issue. In 3 days of summer school, I have sustained 4 bruises...2 of unknown origin but most likely from a student. The other 2 are from where I ran into the door frame after an attempted escape. Those 2 hurt. There's no visible bruise but it hurts when I poke it. Yes, I know-Don't poke it! Shopping
I spent the last 2 days shopping. I think I might be shopped out for at least a good week. I was very successful, though. I spent $130. I got 3 shirts, 2 pairs of crop pants, a skirt and a strapless bar that is rather sufficient for holding up the boobage. I'm gonna get those clear strap thingies ( Read more... ) -
Don't buy Kraft or bank with Harris
I was reading the Trib today, and I came upon this article about the Gay Games. It's being held in Chicago. I guess Kraft and Harris Bank made monetary contributions, and those uber conservative family groups are hopping mad.
