Hmmm. Good question. I suppose 1) because Ron has big hands and feet... so his other appendage is expected to be nicely sized as well!! :) Also, Ron sometimes is not very brainy... so he is compensated in other areas. ;)

Me too!! I love him in the books and films but mostly, I'm not interested in reading fics where he's part of the main pairing - though I have made a *few* exceptions when he's with Draco - the concept used to disturb me, but some people manage to pull it off :)

I have to say that I am actively avoiding fic that has Ron Weasley naked. Kinkfest is an exception for me. :) So - really, I couldn't say. rickey_a might be a good one to ask because she ships Harry/Ron as much as H/D.

I've seen Ron well endowed in many fics, but probably no more so then you'll sometimes see Snape with that same trend in Snarry or even Harry w/a generous cock in many H/D or other Harry-ship fics. I think there's just a popular trick in adult rated fanfic to have one of the men be well endowed for the sake of creating additional sexual excitement.

But additionally for Ron, I think the people who ship him or have a real love for him want to give him something special, to come out from the shadow of his brothers, come out from Harry's shadow and bequeath him one ginormous tool!

I can definitely understand when one of the main pairing are descibed as well-endowed, I've used it myself :P but it just always struck me as strange how Ron would pop up all over the place in drarry fic with an enviable donger on display. xD
