NaNoWriMo is going really well for me this year. I'm on track to make 75K by the end of the month, if I can drag my story out for that long. And amazingly, I still don't hate my story. NaNoWriMo has got off to an enjoyable start for me this year. At the moment I'm going at a slow-and-steady pace, averaging 2,000 words a day, but I'm hoping to build up momentum as the month goes on. NaNoWriMo is now only days away, and for once, I'm going into it with a plot I'm actually excited about. I even have an ending! The characters aren't fleshed out yet, and there are several plot details I'll need to untangle as I go along, but it should still be very cool. It's going to be a horror story.
