Fantastic world of fanfics
Is it serious that I'm refreshing DA fanfic page on FF? Like everyday. Multiple times. In an hour.

No more angst, now let's make some room for happiness
I was in a weird place when I was finally able to watch the Downton Abbey Christamas Special. I'd been ill all weekend and insomnia had made me feel I was in some sort of a numb bubble. It was about 5 AM when I'd finally finished downloading and began to watch it on Boxing Day.

Sometimes you need a professional to do the job
One thing that makes me happy about the Christmas Special (two weeks to go, YAY!) is that it's been directed by Brian Percival.
So who is this guy and why does he matter? Well, not only was he the one pulling the strings in most of the best DA episodes in S1 (1,6 and 7), he has also directed the one period drama with the best tv-kiss I've ever seen.
