Wouldn't it be nice if we were older? Then we wouldn't have to wait so long...

Sigh... Love is the most amazing blessing.

 I hate that I usually opt to do what I should want to do instead of what I want to do.

Today, I want to sing.

 I want to throw up Recruitment.

I am literally sick of having to think about one thing all the time, and not only that, I have to think about that one thing for 30 other people, too.

As a side note, I love my sorority sisters.  I feel closer to them than I ever have.  This is a good thing.

"Maria's not an asset to the abbey."

I really identify with Maria in this movie.  I'm always singing, always hoping to please God, but end up settling for pleasing myself in the end.  That's probably not good.  Hopefully, I'll end up as happy as she does.

I love old movies.

Right now, I'm watching The Big Cat from 1933.  It's pretty amazing.  It's basically the story of this old Western town that's being tortured by a "big cat."  The cat eats their cows, kills their dogs, and basically makes living there a little less boring.  So, all ten men in the town set off on a "cat hunt" - the one who kills ( Read more... )

I just got back from Disney World. Right now, I'm enjoying listening to the annual Science Fair squabble which is taking place between my mama (who means really well and knows a lot about what really works out) and my little sister.  Mom's rigged up this really ridiculous "chick-a-wall" on which Celia's hanging "chick-a-weights" to chicken wings ( Read more... )
