Other than thinking you're exactly right, I'm also thinking "Bring on the pod people!" because I am rather bored right now, and defending humanity, though perhaps futilely, has to rank higher than melting pennies with a lighter and virtual fishing.

I'm more than 30,000 bells over my goal for today, and have plenty of time to take that higher. And once you've melted one penny...

I like this post because this is just the kinda thing that sets me off for an hour obsessively imagining scenarios where I am cloned by plant pod people from outter space and subsequently play out in my head my plant pod clone visiting people I know in turn and doing its plant pod clone thing so I can suss out who would notice and who would not.
