just when I thought I couldn't love Spoon more, I went and saw them live. how completely amazing... there was so much energy everywhere and it was all good. No doubt the best $20 I've ever spent ( Read more... )

Because you know there are people out there, somewhere, whose most significant experience in the past few weeks was something as mundane as, and this is a purely hypothetical example, seeing the first virtual snowfall of the year in a town which is geographically centered squarely within the confines of a video game cartridge, and you felt like gloating?

I dream of seeing Spoon.
They've played in the city, but never this far upstate.
Cornell brings shows to campus every year and I'm hoping one day they will get off their duffs and get me some Spoon.
