Actually, I don't think I'd want it if it was. I've been reading to many reviews that basically go, "Mass Effect is the most awesome, incredible game I ever played. Here's what's wrong with it." Which makes one wonder, what are the good parts? Well, so far, they're not telling.
you're right about that, and even I have to say that it's flawed, but what game isn't?
anyway, I think it's the fact that the game is so good that makes people prone to pick it apart. it's easily the best console action-RPG I've ever played, with VERY little to complain about, and because of that, the few flaws it has stand out even more.
I can definitely tell you what I thought its strengths were-- depth of characters, storytelling, graphics, fluidity, combat, and replayability, among others, which is basically all you need to make a game fun to play. no, it's not perfect, but what game have you played that you wouldn't change something about?
