thanks! hopefully it's just the beginning of a long trend :D
are you counting calories? if you've lost 5 lbs or more, you should probably recalculate the calories you're allowed to have-- the less you weigh, the less you're allowed to eat to maintain or lose weight. our formula is weight x 7 = calories per day, and I'm recalculating every 5 lbs so that I don't hit a plateau.
No, I'm just exercising more, and eating less. I lost 40 pounds in 6 months, but that's where I've been stuck for the last 6 months. I'll lose 5 or so pounds more, but then I'll gain it back. Sometimes I'll even gain back 5 pounds, and then lose it. My weight just keeps hovering around 200. Part of that might be because I've put on a lot more muscle? I dunno.
Don't get too attached to Skins, it's a miniseries. Also, it aired on BBC America a while ago. Where are you watching it?
British slang is easier than American slang. Always has been. I used to be the only one at work who could talk to the RAF guys conversationally, and that includes people who had spent years in England.
Not going to watch the video, mostly because I don't want to turn the sound on with this machine. I only know the name of the performer because Livenation has been pushing a concert at me for a while. Which I can't figure out. "This guy bought tickets to a black metal supertour through us, he must also want to go see indie-pop and the fucking Eagles!" Yes, I know it's just the email they send to everyone, but dammit, the fact the the fucking Eagles are going to be playing in my state on my birthday kind of ruins it. And I said I was going to stop doing this, didn't I?
I'd swear they announced the absolute, "it's not continuing after this" end to it a while ago. Though I wasn't paying much attention to it at all, anyway, so I could be wrong. BBCAM does have a tendency to not finish shows, though, unless they get good ratings in the US. So there's always that to look forward to.

Maurice & Noble - "Hoochie Coochie Man"
and
Amber - "Sexual (Deep Dish Cheez Whiz Dub)"
which is possibly why I'm totally mesmerized by it.
