Had reason to check out my old posts, so decided to see if I could get my log in to work.  Just a post to say I Was Here.

I witnessed an amazing thing tonight. I don't know if the person I was with knew how amazing it was for me personally to witness. I also don't know if I can actually put into words what it felt like and the gift to be trusted and loved enough to be asked to be there.

This is just a place marker to remind myself that when I actually make the statement that I'm relatively happy right now and I don't want to imagine anything else to make it better that the universe takes that as a sign to fuck with me.

I've been wanting to post somewhere about what's going on in my life, but respect for anyone it involves (both people who might read my journal and people who have no idea it exists) makes me hesitant. Holy crap, I haven't updated in over a year. I didn't intend to do that. Though considering some days, there's not a single update on my friends' page, perhaps I'm not the only one not using LJ as they used to. My facebook days are over apparently as they've decided to disable my account. Sadness abounds. In other news, I am the first day of my forced vacation and already wasting my time instead of doing something productive.

Because all the cool kids are doing it, I have a Twitter account. Again, not sure what I'm going to do with it, but I wanted to get one in case someday I decide I need one. :) Yay backwards logic.

So should I be following you?

I've been spending too much time on Facebook, because I'm a poser. Everyone and their mother does seem to have a facebook account and I've found lots of college and some high school friends on there. It was snowing big fluffy flakes yesterday and our office smelled like spice scented pinecones and for that brief moment I wanted to run out and buy gifts and put up my tree and everything else.
