I didn't interpret the message that was perched on the street light heading into work yesterday the correct way.  Apparently the message was "duck & cover" or "put your head down and brace for impact".

Neither of which I did. 

It's not really an advertised fact, but I absolutely love Christopher Moore.  It's not really an exaggeration that he's at the top of my favorite authors list.

So I'm trying to determine how much money I would need if I were to theoretically try to take a 2 week vacation to England.    Airfare is easy to figure out, but the other expenses are the tricky parts.  I can look up Air + Hotel package details on Orbitz, Expedia, and Travelocity, but that isn't ideal.  It would not be my intent to spend 2 weeks ( Read more... )

I've had a decisive lack of enthusiasm about the holiday this year.  Even on a normal year, I don't tend to get into a whirlwind of excitement over it, but this year is a new height in apathy towards Christmas.  I could try and blame it on working in retail, but truth be told, this year seemed less stressful than last year.  Not to say it's been ( Read more... )
