first of all.. I just wanted to ask you if you ever worked on that Documentary or anything you were thinking about? Secondly, I want to make my own documentary next summer and I'm wondering if you happen to know anyone that has a small film company or anything that would be willing to help with the project by lending some equipment (a camera :) ).

I am totally and utterly broke, my friend. No movie-making as of yet, although it certainly would be nice.
I could secure us/you/me some equipment, but nothing too professional, regretably. If I make enough money (and get a job, for starters), perhaps I'll get my own used Hasselblad or something.

the documentary would have to be done digitally.. and I'd ideally need one of those lipstick style cameras, because it's almost all gonna be shot from my bicycle as I ride it across canada. Any ideas?

Well, first (or last, now that I think of it) step would be to get a new iMac (less than two grand, and you can hit up the government for a grant) for editing purposes. They're beautiful, practical, and the best for editting purposes. As for the camera, I know they're easy to find, since I've seen them on motorcycles (although never a bike) more than once. I Googled 'cycling cameras' and came up with http://www.sports-camera.com/helmet_cam_ntsc.htm. Give it a look!
