Well, another child woul give them a matching set (either 2 boys or a boy and girl).
As for the affair... [some people may want to skip this if they're even reading the story... You dearie, can click] Well, my answer should be that G an Hyde are good friends in RL and there have been a few remarks made by G about Hyde, and some tabloid said they were terribly drunk and kissed a couple of years ago... But that's not it. It's called a plot device XD. It's a little foreshadowing so that something that happens later might actually mean something ^_^
