Seventeen stone and nine pounds!!!

While that's still fat, it's actually the lowest weight I've been (according to my scales) since I've been recording it starting in February 2002. Good stuff.

I had two appointments at the doctors today - both with Dr. D'Souza and the nurse (for a new patient checkup). When in Warwickshire I'd really missed Dr. D'Souza, and hadn't found a replacement who was half as good, so it was with a great deal of joy that I managed to get back into my old surgery here, even though I'm well outside the catchment ( Read more... )

All-in-all a very nice day. Work just went by swimmingly (currently adding unit test code to my stuff - NUnit is really, really nice, and I can see why Adam and Rox were raving about the C++ version of it at Codies) and then EQ in the evening. A lazier day than I'd hoped for, but I did get the washing done, cleared my e-mail backlog and all the paperwork that's been slowly building up, and I unpacked a box (the last of my CDs - I really need to invest in some better and bigger storage).

Today I admitted to myself that I was probably an alcholic (note the inclusion of 'probably,' so maybe I'm not quite there yet).
