S: We gave 100% of our effort on the first day, you see...

A: It was the best!
A: It was the best, but our bodies are really feeling it the next day.
A: We're really feeling it now.
O: I'm SO tired.
O: I sweated a ridiculous amount.
O: I'm dead tired.
S: The two of us put on suntan oil.
O: And then we put on sunscreen.
A: We were putting it on each other earlier.
M: Wow wow wow!
Staff: How is the moving stage?
Staff: We made it really slow, like Hawaiian songs.
S: When you think of it that way, it's not too bad.
M: It was really good.
M: What should we do?
M: UGH!
Staff: It's the wrath of God!
S: But animals like him.
S: Matsujun hates animals, though.
M: Kids and animals don't like me, yet bugs do.
Staff: You can't see the ground while you're on the moving stage right now, yes?
Staff: I don't think it's going to rain today, so we're going to remove that.
M: I'm going to talk this over with Nino and then make a final decision.

Interviewer: Where's Ninomiya-san today?
M: He kind of hurt himself yesterday,
M: so right now, he's... taking care and prepping so that he can move about during the show.
O: How was it yesterday?
S: It was great, right?
A: It was the best!
M: I want to ask you how it went instead!
O: I want to know that too.
S: We're really trying to shake it off today.
S: We're trying to shake off that physical fatigue, but like... we really went all out.
A: What is it? It feels like we gave it our all.
S: How that was perceived is a whole different matter, though.
S: We feel like we gave it our all, at least.
A: First days really are, like...
O: You use all your energy.
A: Like...
O: Can't help it.
A: You pour your energy into every song.
A: Which I always do, but...
M: Please do that today too.
A: I do, but it feels like I surpassed my own limits.
M: There's an air of tension about the first day.
S: We've finally arrived at the last day of this long tour.
A: It's been a long day today!
A: When you think about it from the start.
S: There were a lot of different countries out there.
S: Hawaiian people were a given, but I saw someone with a Mexico flag.
A: Yeah, and someone with Brazil too.
S: People are coming from all over the world to see us, Japan included.
S: It makes us happy, doesn't it?
A: It really feels like a festival, somehow.
M: Don't do it today, okay?
O: I'll be fine today.
S: But all fans are supposed to be equal, so you have to cry around the same amount today too.
M: They're going to think you're acting if you cry today too.
O: Then I'll cry during that same moment today.
S: It's all close coverage.
S: In all these different places...
M: The helicopter is really cool.
M: I saw the footage yesterday, and that was great.
N: Yesterday's show was great, wasn't it?
M: It felt good.
S: Aiba-kun seriously wanted to get into a pool so he looked for one,
S: But everyone got mad at him and said, "You'll get tired before the show so don't do it".
N: Okay, we'll see you guys again at the airport!
S: Aloha!
N: Five more minutes.
M: Got it.
S: Shall we take a picture?
M: Let's do it.
S: Where?
M: In front of the helicopter.

N: That was dangerous.
N: It really is slippery.

M: It was fun. It was really, um...
M: We looked back on so many things, and those 15 years have been great.
M: Thanks to everyone, we were able to experience 15 wonderful years.
M: It made me realize all over again how glad I am that the five of us got through it together.
M: It rarely happens, after all.
M: For five regular guys to have that many people shrieking for you.
M: The only time we get that feeling is during concerts, we don't usually when we're going about our normal lives.
M: In that sense, it really is a special moment.
M: Getting to continue having such moments for 15 years is a great fortune to us all.
M: It would be great if we can continue doing that from now on too.
N: Above all else, I'm glad that it concluded safely. I mean, it rained, but...
N: But it's kinda Arashi... Ah, sorry...
N: It's Arashi-like...
A: Stop it! Stop it!
M: That wasn't a gag.
N: Huh? That wasn't a gag?
M: It wasn't!
A: It was around 2002 or 2003...
A: There was this tour with Arashi that fans were supposed to go on,
A: but a week before it, my lung collapsed and I had to be hospitalized.
A: Then, naturally they told me it would take a month to fully recover,
A: and I might not be able to take part in that tour either.
A: So I have, erm... I have really strong feelings towards Hawaii.
A: But...
A: In one week... in that one week, I miraculously recovered and was able to participate in the tour.
A: Well, I couldn't participate in everything,
A: But I was able to go together with them. And within that,
A: The other four guys stood on stage and performed a few songs.
A: I stood near the corner and watched them along with our fans.
A: I was really overwhelmed by this indescribable feeling at the time.
A: I felt guilty, I felt really frustrated at myself...
A: I never thought I'd get a chance like this again,
A: to have the five of us stand on stage in Hawaii...
A: I always...
M: Hey now, face forward!
A: I always felt this way...
M: No, you have to face forward!
A: Then, 15 years later...
A: I've got my chance now,
A: and we stood up here today, which we did it yesterday too.
A: then, I'm just so happy that I can regain what I lost over these 15 years.
N: I thought it was a full-on gag or something.
A: It's not!
N: Ah, it's not?
A: Stop that!
N: But seriously--
M: You're using it too soon!
A: It only just happened!
N: I hope the people at the venue didn't catch any colds.
N: But really, when I think about whether we were able to show people what these 1 years has been like for us,
N: the meaning of us doing so, and the significance of that... I think it was an amazing concert.
N: I'm really thankful, yes.
S: Yeah, I wanted to do a bit more.
S: We only got to do it twice, after all.
S: It feels like it was over in a flash.
S: But on the other hand, we only ever hoped to be able to hold concerts in Hawaii,
S: and like what has been said, next thing we knew it's our 15th anniversary.
S: In the end, we were able to hold these anniversary concerts.
S: It's not every day that you can split them up like this into 10 years, 15 years.
S: Rather than saying it happened spontaneously to ourselves, it's really the people around us who are celebrating us as a group.
S: How should I put this... the word "group" is really priceless in itself, I think.
S: Once again, I felt like our group has really been blessed.
S: I really had a lot of fun.
A: I had such an extravagant time!
A: We prepared pretty far ahead for these two days,
A: so it's really...
A: I think it's been a very extravagant time.
A: 15 years later, I've grown to like Arashi even more.
A: That is all.
M: You don't have to face backwards?
A: I told you, that wasn't a running joke!
N: You're not going to do your gag?
A: It's not a joke!
S: Next time you're talking and facing forward, the rest of us are going to face backwards.
A: I was talking seriously! You should listen properly!
A: The rain was definitely crazy today.
N: It rained so hard, I didn't think it was going to let up.
A: And how much it rained too!
A: That's something you rarely get to experience too,
M: It stopped so quickly once we were done dancing.
A: But with that included, we still had a ton of fun even though the audience probably had a tough time.
S: But our audience, especially the fans that are familiar with Arashi,
S: They probably felt like, "Ahh, it's just like that time... of course it's going to rain".
S: But the Hawaiian folks who came for the first time today?
S: "It's really raining hard!"
M: Like, "Seriously, you guys?"
A: I feel bad about that.
S: It's too bad.
O: It rained about the same amount during our 10th anniversary too, didn't it?
A: Ahh, you're right!
S: We almost couldn't see what's in front of us.
O: It was like, "It's really raining!"
O: The people from Hawaii were probably even more surprised.
O: I don't think it usually rains much there.
N: Eh?
N: He just said that...
N: You're okay with stealing? You're stealing his comment.
O: Just use mine.
A: They're going to use yours, aren't they?
S: He does that a lot lately... well, it's alright, it's totally fine.
O: Ahh, it really was incredible.
O: I mean, it did rain, but we got to hold our 15th anniversary shows in Hawaii.
O: It's like everything was lumped in together, I feel refreshed.
S: That's true.
O: That's...
A: It feels like we went all out.
O: It really feels like we went all out.
O: Which is why I feel all spent now.
M: Yeah... you do look rather spent.
M: It feels like you did go all out.
S: It feels like we're wrapping something up, doesn't it?
Interviewer: What is Arashi planning to do in the future? Do you have any goals?
O: I'm not thinking about that right now.
N: That's only natural!
A: Yeah!
S: That's how we've gotten this far, all along.
N: Yeah.
A: That's true.
O: A bug went up my nose.
O: Thinking back on it now...
O: Those concerts... were like a dream, I guess.
O: It was fun, those two days.
O: The weather included everything, it was cloudy, it was sunny, it was pouring.
O: I kept thinking, "Why is that?"
O: Our show at Kokuritsu during our 10th anniversary also had around that same amount of rain.
O: Getting to experience that in Hawaii...
O: It really had an "Arashi" feel to it. Like, "This always happens".
O: But it's...
O: what is it...
O: It really felt like a show that could only be pulled off after 15 years.
O: When we were dancing to "Pikanchi"...
O: All of us were sweating like crazy from "A.RA.SHI" onward during the first day.
O: Then...
O: When we were dancing hard to "Pikanchi", on the middle stage...
O: It occurred to me then, like... "Ah. I'm getting old".
O: The nice weather might have played a part too, but I really felt like this isn't too good.
O: We were sweating so much too.
O: I remember all of us looking at each other.
O: Being all like, "This isn't good!" as we danced.
O: It's been so long since that thought occurred to me.
O: These five people who just so happened to be in the spotlight...
O: We're basically people who never wanted to be in the spotlight, you know?
O: It felt like we were out there representing our fans.
O: This is only in our eyes, but...
O: it often feels like it doesn't have anything to do with ourselves.
O: Like when we saw the Kokuritsu venue.
O: We were like, "Wowww, this place is amazing~!"
O: I'm not sure why, even though we're Arashi.
O: Even in Hawaii, we rode that helicopter during rehearsals, right?
O: We were like "Oh wowww!" about it.
O: This is really just in our eyes, but we all feel that way.
O: Like, "We're going to do it here?" I don't know what it is...
O: We're Arashi, but... how should I put it? It just feels so strange to us, even now.
O: I always feel like I'm not doing anything particularly significant,
O: so I never think to myself, "I did this, aren't I amazing!?"
O: I don't think about how "It's so amazing that we held shows in Hawaii!" either.
O: Just "Thank you very much!".
O: "Thank you for letting us do this," I guess...
O: It's the fans who are always raising us up, who are offering us their support, I think.
O: I mean, as we get older it feels more and more embarrassing to be on television.
O: Even when people scream for us, it makes me think, "No, I'm an old man now".
O: "But thank you!", because they're so considerate of our feelings.
Staff A: There's no hook?
Staff B: Yes, we can absolutely go and buy that right now if you want.
O: Seriously?
Staff B: Along with bait, yes.
Staff C: Were you thinking to yourself that it's so close you might as well go yourself just now?
O: Yeah, I did. I'll get everything myself.
Staff: Wow! Beautiful!
N: Hey.
N: You've got a section manager, a chief clerk, and a department head, like...
N: There are stages... but our position doesn't change much in this line of work.
N: Within all these different groups...
N: You have someone who said, "Okay, now you'll be working with Arashi".
N: And we need to fully understand the reason why they "decided on that",
N: but there isn't really a reason why they decided on Arashi.
N: When you think about it that way, whether that's a good or a bad thing...
N: It's not really up to us to say anything.
N: At least to me, this is just how I see it.
N: That's how I feel, I suppose.
N: This happens to any other type of work, but like...
N: There's always an instant where you think, "Is this all I've done in 15 years!?"
N: It's embarrassing to talk about your performance history.
N: I mean, it's not really all that...
N: Things like... "You debuted in 1999, right?", you know?
N: I have a habit of glossing over it lately when I'm asked, "So how many years has it been?"
N: It's kinda...
N: You know? I take pride in every single job I do,
N: and I take responsibility for what I'm doing,
N: so I have no regrets in that regard...
N: but...
N: I feel a bit embarrassed about admitting how long it's been, that's all.
N: To have people celebrating our 15th year is definitely very strange to us.
N: Back when I was 15, I was just living my life with nothing to my name.
N: And yet here I am, having people celebrating for us...
N: I know I really have to be grateful for all this.
N: Actually, rather than saying I have to be grateful, I should say I am very much grateful.
N: Of course towards those at our agency, and also to the people who are supporting us.
N: Like...
N: Leader's been crying often during our concerts as of late.
N: But that's probably because he can't find the words to express how he feels anymore.
N: We're always saying, "Thank you very much, thank you very much",
N: but then it kinda starts to feel like we're lying somehow.
N: The more he tries to put it into words the more it comes out sounding like a lie, I'm sure.
N: Of course the sincerity's there! For sure.
N: But...
N: I don't think any of us have found better words to express our gratitude anymore.
N: Though I say any of us, only two people actually cried.
N: But that was the feeling I got.
N: That's why they cry, it's a very humanistic thing to do.
N: It was a very nice moment.
M: The weather's really nice.
M: We tried to put together something that reflects upon those 15 years.
M: So naturally we're also asking the question of "How was it?"
M: during these shows as we're reflecting upon those 15 years.
M: There was a distinct difference from our 10th anniversary.
M: There truly was a ton of people who congratulated us on our 10th anniversary.
M: Of course, our feelings of gratitude towards that was huge.
M: But compared to that time...
M: I feel deeply touched somehow.
M: It might be the fact that it just so happened to take place in Hawaii.
M: Getting to hold shows in Hawaii, where we had our debut and held the interview about our formation as a group.
M: Or maybe because timing-wise, this didn't happen during our 10th year but in our 15th year.
M: I kinda...
M: It made me realize all over again that we really have been together for a very long time.
M: Getting to spend time together with the people who supported us throughout that long 15-year period...
M: It really was like a dream.
M: It's really interesting, this so-called "group".
M: When you think about it, our personalities are all different.
M: If those four guys were classmates of mine, I don't think we would have been friends.
M: But being in this group called "Arashi"...
M: being told, "Okay, please do this here, you guys"...
M: All those vastly different people had to think hard about how they could be unified.
M: Which is why even when we each have our own work, we do it with the thought of being able to return to Arashi afterward.
M: When a work of ours is completed, we can relax once we get inside one of Arashi's dressing rooms.
M: It makes me realize how great having a group can be, all over again.
M: It's gross, isn't it?
M: Is the water getting in, Leader?
M: Wow, that view in front.
O: I saw a turtle, a turtle!
O: It showed its face a lot, surprisingly.
Staff: About how big was it?
O: About this big?
O: It submerges when I get close.
M: Should I do it? Since it's such a rare chance.
Staff: Let's do it!
M: I guess I'll wait for Nino.
O: I didn't think I'd get this wet.
S: What were you doing?
O: Kayaking.
O: A turtle came over...
S: You're drunk, aren't you?
S: I'm so glad we could do concerts.
S: By which I mean...
S: If we didn't have these concerts, we wouldn't really have the chance to reflect upon our past 15 years.
S: Not to mention we're already preparing for our next album and upcoming tour in November.
S: If we didn't have these two short days of concerts in Hawaii,
S: I don't think we would be able to stop and look back on everything.
S: So getting the chance to look back on our history,
S: being able to do so in our birthplace, so to speak,
S: and getting to retrace the time we once spent here...
S: It's secondary to our purpose but it's huge for us.
S: Then, one more thing is the fact that we've pretty much never spent 10 whole days together as a group like this.
S: Even when we try to think back on it, I don't think it's ever happened these past 10 years or so.
S: The five of us drinking together, talking together.
S: Getting the time to do that was monumental.
S: I didn't think anything of it before we came, but now I think that time was really priceless.
S: But the whole "Getting along well is our selling point!" thing is embarrassing.
S: It's almost disgraceful...
S: When you're doing this kind of work-- I don't know. Like for example,
S: the appeal in dancing lies in being in sync,
S: or it sounds pretty when you hear all five voices in a song.
S: I get that.
S: But it's like, "What does it mean to get along well?"
S: I don't like just focusing on that one point so I personally have tried to distance myself from that before, just a bit.
S: But just as one might expect, it didn't feel quite right.
S: After trying to do that for one or two years,
S: I didn't really care either way anymore.
S: It's okay if there are people out there wanting to say that we get along well.
S: But just because there's a lot of people who like the fact that "Arashi gets along well",
S: it doesn't mean I want that to be the basis for the reason why we continue to get along.
S: We're not close because it's expected of us,
S: It's all the creative things that we're doing as a group
S: and that feeling of working side by side that creates a good environment for it.
S: I can't do anything on my own.
S: Or rather, I can't do anything if it wasn't for Arashi.
S: It's because of Arashi that I get to be in dramas,
S: it's because of Arashi that I get to be in movies,
S: because of Arashi, I can do variety shows,
S: because of Arashi, I can do newscasting...
S: And because of Arashi, I became a Kouhaku host.
S: "Because of Arashi" is the reason for our existence,
S: so I'm glad...
S: I'm glad, because otherwise I can't do anything myself.
S: Other than that...
S: I sincerely feel this way time and time again, I really do.
S: Coinciding with our 15th year and getting to spend that much time with those people on a daily basis,
S: I'm glad to be a part of Arashi but at the same time, I'm glad that it was the five of us.
S: That's how I've been feeling everyday as of late.
M: What should I do...
M: What to do?

O: Why not just get in the water?
M: That's true. I want to get in there too.

M: I see. But we can't help it, we're doing shows in Hawaii anyway.

A: I was playing with chimpanzees, you see.
A: What an amazing place!

A: These 15 years... really, all I have is gratitude.
A: I didn't think we could keep on going for 15 years... um...
A: But it's fun, for sure.
A: I guess it was just before our 10th anniversary.
A: It felt to me like everything really picked up speed.
A: My internal pace seemed to pick up speed, like I was living too fast at one point.
A: Every day was stimulating to me, and I was in a really happy spot.
A: But mentally speaking I was pouring all my energy out and not replenishing it with anything.
A: I realized that things might not bode well if it continued that way,
A: but after we passed our 10th year and got to our 11th and 12th and 13th years,
A: I managed to get my internal pace back under wraps somehow.
A: I think that might have been pretty huge for me.
A: That's why I now have this really strong sense of "repose" now.
A: And even so I still take my work seriously.
A: Being chased at my heels...
A: Or chasing... it's not that I'm being chased at my heels.
A: When it comes to work, it feels like I'm the one doing the chasing now.
A: It's pretty tough when you're the one being chased, isn't it?
A: I think that's what has changed now.
A: Yeah... somehow.
A: It's not about what that work entails exactly, though.
A: It's more about how I feel mentally.
A: ...I suppose.
A: My goals, huh...
A: What is it, I wonder...
A: Being able to do everything I've ever done again. That would be nice.
A: Next year, too.
A: Ah, putting aside this sort of anniversary-type deal, I mean.
A: When you think about it, "maintaining the status quo" is probably the hardest thing to do.
A: Especially when it comes to this line of work.
A: Of course I'd like to take on new challenges,
A: and I have the will to do that,
A: but I think it's important to do the things we've done before once again too.
A: Getting to hold concerts once a year isn't actually common,
A: and even putting out CDs can be a really hard thing to do.
A: So continuing what we've done all this time...
A: is kind of my goal, or rather my dream.
A: Enjoying that wonderful period of time for as long as possible, you know,
A: Those fantastical moments.
A: I want to keep basking in it, no matter how old I get.
A: In order to achieve that, we can't just work to make it happen by ourselves.
A: It's the people who accept us, who come to see us, who want to enjoy themselves with us that make it happen.
A: I want everyone to think that way as well.
N: At any rate, since everything concluded without incident.
A: Yeah!

M: Thanks to everyone, we were able to experience 15 wonderful years.
M: It made me realize all over again how glad I am that the five of us got through it together.

M: The only time we get that feeling is during concerts, we don't usually when we're going about our normal lives.
M: In that sense, it really is a special moment.
M: Getting to continue having such moments for 15 years is a great fortune to us all.
M: It would be great if we can continue doing that from now on too.
N: Above all else, I'm glad that it concluded safely. I mean, it rained, but...
N: But it's kinda Arashi... Ah, sorry...
N: It's Arashi-like...

M: That wasn't a gag.
N: Huh? That wasn't a gag?
M: It wasn't!
A: It was around 2002 or 2003...
A: There was this tour with Arashi that fans were supposed to go on,
A: but a week before it, my lung collapsed and I had to be hospitalized.
A: Then, naturally they told me it would take a month to fully recover,
A: and I might not be able to take part in that tour either.
A: So I have, erm... I have really strong feelings towards Hawaii.
A: But...
A: In one week... in that one week, I miraculously recovered and was able to participate in the tour.
A: Well, I couldn't participate in everything,
A: But I was able to go together with them. And within that,
A: The other four guys stood on stage and performed a few songs.
A: I stood near the corner and watched them along with our fans.
A: I was really overwhelmed by this indescribable feeling at the time.
A: I felt guilty, I felt really frustrated at myself...
A: I never thought I'd get a chance like this again,
A: to have the five of us stand on stage in Hawaii...
A: I always...
M: Hey now, face forward!
A: I always felt this way...
M: No, you have to face forward!
A: Then, 15 years later...
A: I've got my chance now,
A: and we stood up here today, which we did it yesterday too.
A: then, I'm just so happy that I can regain what I lost over these 15 years.
N: I thought it was a full-on gag or something.
A: It's not!

A: It only just happened!
N: I hope the people at the venue didn't catch any colds.
N: But really, when I think about whether we were able to show people what these 1 years has been like for us,
N: the meaning of us doing so, and the significance of that... I think it was an amazing concert.
N: I'm really thankful, yes.
S: Yeah, I wanted to do a bit more.
S: We only got to do it twice, after all.
S: It feels like it was over in a flash.
S: But on the other hand, we only ever hoped to be able to hold concerts in Hawaii,
S: and like what has been said, next thing we knew it's our 15th anniversary.
S: In the end, we were able to hold these anniversary concerts.
S: It's not every day that you can split them up like this into 10 years, 15 years.
S: Rather than saying it happened spontaneously to ourselves, it's really the people around us who are celebrating us as a group.
S: How should I put this... the word "group" is really priceless in itself, I think.
S: Once again, I felt like our group has really been blessed.
S: I really had a lot of fun.
A: I had such an extravagant time!
A: We prepared pretty far ahead for these two days,

A: 15 years later, I've grown to like Arashi even more.

M: It stopped so quickly once we were done dancing.
A: But with that included, we still had a ton of fun even though the audience probably had a tough time.
S: But our audience, especially the fans that are familiar with Arashi,
S: They probably felt like, "Ahh, it's just like that time... of course it's going to rain".
S: But the Hawaiian folks who came for the first time today?
S: "It's really raining hard!"
M: Like, "Seriously, you guys?"
A: I feel bad about that.
S: It's too bad.
O: It rained about the same amount during our 10th anniversary too, didn't it?
A: Ahh, you're right!
S: We almost couldn't see what's in front of us.
O: It was like, "It's really raining!"
O: The people from Hawaii were probably even more surprised.

O: I mean, it did rain, but we got to hold our 15th anniversary shows in Hawaii.
O: It's like everything was lumped in together, I feel refreshed.

A: It feels like we went all out.

S: It feels like we're wrapping something up, doesn't it?
Interviewer: What is Arashi planning to do in the future? Do you have any goals?
O: I'm not thinking about that right now.
N: That's only natural!
A: Yeah!
S: That's how we've gotten this far, all along.
N: Yeah.
A: That's true.
O: A bug went up my nose.
O: Thinking back on it now...
O: Those concerts... were like a dream, I guess.
O: It was fun, those two days.
O: The weather included everything, it was cloudy, it was sunny, it was pouring.
O: I kept thinking, "Why is that?"
O: Our show at Kokuritsu during our 10th anniversary also had around that same amount of rain.
O: Getting to experience that in Hawaii...
O: It really had an "Arashi" feel to it. Like, "This always happens".
O: But it's...
O: what is it...
O: It really felt like a show that could only be pulled off after 15 years.
O: When we were dancing to "Pikanchi"...
O: All of us were sweating like crazy from "A.RA.SHI" onward during the first day.
O: Then...
O: When we were dancing hard to "Pikanchi", on the middle stage...
O: It occurred to me then, like... "Ah. I'm getting old".
O: The nice weather might have played a part too, but I really felt like this isn't too good.
O: We were sweating so much too.
O: I remember all of us looking at each other.
O: Being all like, "This isn't good!" as we danced.
O: It's been so long since that thought occurred to me.
O: These five people who just so happened to be in the spotlight...
O: We're basically people who never wanted to be in the spotlight, you know?
O: It felt like we were out there representing our fans.
O: This is only in our eyes, but...
O: it often feels like it doesn't have anything to do with ourselves.
O: Like when we saw the Kokuritsu venue.
O: We were like, "Wowww, this place is amazing~!"
O: I'm not sure why, even though we're Arashi.
O: Even in Hawaii, we rode that helicopter during rehearsals, right?
O: We were like "Oh wowww!" about it.
O: This is really just in our eyes, but we all feel that way.
O: Like, "We're going to do it here?" I don't know what it is...
O: We're Arashi, but... how should I put it? It just feels so strange to us, even now.
O: I always feel like I'm not doing anything particularly significant,
O: so I never think to myself, "I did this, aren't I amazing!?"
O: I don't think about how "It's so amazing that we held shows in Hawaii!" either.
O: Just "Thank you very much!".
O: "Thank you for letting us do this," I guess...
O: It's the fans who are always raising us up, who are offering us their support, I think.
O: I mean, as we get older it feels more and more embarrassing to be on television.
O: Even when people scream for us, it makes me think, "No, I'm an old man now".
O: "But thank you!", because they're so considerate of our feelings.

O: Yeah, I did. I'll get everything myself.

N: You've got a section manager, a chief clerk, and a department head, like...
N: There are stages... but our position doesn't change much in this line of work.
N: Within all these different groups...
N: You have someone who said, "Okay, now you'll be working with Arashi".
N: And we need to fully understand the reason why they "decided on that",
N: but there isn't really a reason why they decided on Arashi.
N: When you think about it that way, whether that's a good or a bad thing...
N: It's not really up to us to say anything.
N: At least to me, this is just how I see it.
N: That's how I feel, I suppose.
N: This happens to any other type of work, but like...
N: There's always an instant where you think, "Is this all I've done in 15 years!?"
N: It's embarrassing to talk about your performance history.
N: I mean, it's not really all that...
N: Things like... "You debuted in 1999, right?", you know?
N: I have a habit of glossing over it lately when I'm asked, "So how many years has it been?"
N: It's kinda...
N: You know? I take pride in every single job I do,
N: and I take responsibility for what I'm doing,
N: so I have no regrets in that regard...
N: but...
N: I feel a bit embarrassed about admitting how long it's been, that's all.
N: To have people celebrating our 15th year is definitely very strange to us.
N: Back when I was 15, I was just living my life with nothing to my name.
N: And yet here I am, having people celebrating for us...
N: I know I really have to be grateful for all this.
N: Actually, rather than saying I have to be grateful, I should say I am very much grateful.
N: Of course towards those at our agency, and also to the people who are supporting us.
N: Like...
N: Leader's been crying often during our concerts as of late.
N: But that's probably because he can't find the words to express how he feels anymore.
N: We're always saying, "Thank you very much, thank you very much",
N: but then it kinda starts to feel like we're lying somehow.
N: The more he tries to put it into words the more it comes out sounding like a lie, I'm sure.
N: Of course the sincerity's there! For sure.
N: But...
N: I don't think any of us have found better words to express our gratitude anymore.
N: Though I say any of us, only two people actually cried.
N: But that was the feeling I got.
N: That's why they cry, it's a very humanistic thing to do.
N: It was a very nice moment.

M: We tried to put together something that reflects upon those 15 years.
M: So naturally we're also asking the question of "How was it?"
M: during these shows as we're reflecting upon those 15 years.
M: There was a distinct difference from our 10th anniversary.
M: There truly was a ton of people who congratulated us on our 10th anniversary.
M: Of course, our feelings of gratitude towards that was huge.
M: But compared to that time...
M: I feel deeply touched somehow.
M: It might be the fact that it just so happened to take place in Hawaii.
M: Getting to hold shows in Hawaii, where we had our debut and held the interview about our formation as a group.
M: Or maybe because timing-wise, this didn't happen during our 10th year but in our 15th year.
M: I kinda...
M: It made me realize all over again that we really have been together for a very long time.
M: Getting to spend time together with the people who supported us throughout that long 15-year period...
M: It really was like a dream.
M: It's really interesting, this so-called "group".
M: When you think about it, our personalities are all different.
M: If those four guys were classmates of mine, I don't think we would have been friends.
M: But being in this group called "Arashi"...
M: being told, "Okay, please do this here, you guys"...
M: All those vastly different people had to think hard about how they could be unified.
M: Which is why even when we each have our own work, we do it with the thought of being able to return to Arashi afterward.
M: When a work of ours is completed, we can relax once we get inside one of Arashi's dressing rooms.
M: It makes me realize how great having a group can be, all over again.
M: It's gross, isn't it?
M: Is the water getting in, Leader?
M: Wow, that view in front.
O: I saw a turtle, a turtle!
O: It showed its face a lot, surprisingly.

O: It submerges when I get close.
M: Should I do it? Since it's such a rare chance.

S: What were you doing?
O: Kayaking.

S: You're drunk, aren't you?
S: I'm so glad we could do concerts.
S: By which I mean...
S: If we didn't have these concerts, we wouldn't really have the chance to reflect upon our past 15 years.
S: Not to mention we're already preparing for our next album and upcoming tour in November.
S: If we didn't have these two short days of concerts in Hawaii,
S: I don't think we would be able to stop and look back on everything.
S: So getting the chance to look back on our history,
S: being able to do so in our birthplace, so to speak,
S: and getting to retrace the time we once spent here...
S: It's secondary to our purpose but it's huge for us.
S: Then, one more thing is the fact that we've pretty much never spent 10 whole days together as a group like this.
S: Even when we try to think back on it, I don't think it's ever happened these past 10 years or so.
S: The five of us drinking together, talking together.
S: Getting the time to do that was monumental.
S: I didn't think anything of it before we came, but now I think that time was really priceless.
S: But the whole "Getting along well is our selling point!" thing is embarrassing.
S: It's almost disgraceful...
S: When you're doing this kind of work-- I don't know. Like for example,
S: the appeal in dancing lies in being in sync,
S: or it sounds pretty when you hear all five voices in a song.
S: I get that.
S: But it's like, "What does it mean to get along well?"
S: I don't like just focusing on that one point so I personally have tried to distance myself from that before, just a bit.
S: But just as one might expect, it didn't feel quite right.
S: After trying to do that for one or two years,
S: I didn't really care either way anymore.
S: It's okay if there are people out there wanting to say that we get along well.
S: But just because there's a lot of people who like the fact that "Arashi gets along well",
S: it doesn't mean I want that to be the basis for the reason why we continue to get along.
S: We're not close because it's expected of us,
S: It's all the creative things that we're doing as a group
S: and that feeling of working side by side that creates a good environment for it.
S: I can't do anything on my own.
S: Or rather, I can't do anything if it wasn't for Arashi.
S: It's because of Arashi that I get to be in dramas,
S: it's because of Arashi that I get to be in movies,
S: because of Arashi, I can do variety shows,
S: because of Arashi, I can do newscasting...
S: And because of Arashi, I became a Kouhaku host.
S: "Because of Arashi" is the reason for our existence,
S: so I'm glad...
S: I'm glad, because otherwise I can't do anything myself.
S: Other than that...
S: I sincerely feel this way time and time again, I really do.
S: Coinciding with our 15th year and getting to spend that much time with those people on a daily basis,
S: I'm glad to be a part of Arashi but at the same time, I'm glad that it was the five of us.
S: That's how I've been feeling everyday as of late.

A: These 15 years... really, all I have is gratitude.
A: I didn't think we could keep on going for 15 years... um...
A: But it's fun, for sure.
A: I guess it was just before our 10th anniversary.
A: It felt to me like everything really picked up speed.
A: My internal pace seemed to pick up speed, like I was living too fast at one point.
A: Every day was stimulating to me, and I was in a really happy spot.
A: But mentally speaking I was pouring all my energy out and not replenishing it with anything.
A: I realized that things might not bode well if it continued that way,
A: but after we passed our 10th year and got to our 11th and 12th and 13th years,
A: I managed to get my internal pace back under wraps somehow.
A: I think that might have been pretty huge for me.
A: That's why I now have this really strong sense of "repose" now.
A: And even so I still take my work seriously.
A: Being chased at my heels...
A: Or chasing... it's not that I'm being chased at my heels.
A: When it comes to work, it feels like I'm the one doing the chasing now.
A: It's pretty tough when you're the one being chased, isn't it?
A: I think that's what has changed now.
A: Yeah... somehow.
A: It's not about what that work entails exactly, though.
A: It's more about how I feel mentally.
A: ...I suppose.
A: My goals, huh...
A: What is it, I wonder...
A: Being able to do everything I've ever done again. That would be nice.
A: Next year, too.
A: Ah, putting aside this sort of anniversary-type deal, I mean.
A: When you think about it, "maintaining the status quo" is probably the hardest thing to do.
A: Especially when it comes to this line of work.
A: Of course I'd like to take on new challenges,
A: and I have the will to do that,
A: but I think it's important to do the things we've done before once again too.
A: Getting to hold concerts once a year isn't actually common,
A: and even putting out CDs can be a really hard thing to do.
A: So continuing what we've done all this time...
A: is kind of my goal, or rather my dream.
A: Enjoying that wonderful period of time for as long as possible, you know,
A: Those fantastical moments.
A: I want to keep basking in it, no matter how old I get.
A: In order to achieve that, we can't just work to make it happen by ourselves.
A: It's the people who accept us, who come to see us, who want to enjoy themselves with us that make it happen.
A: I want everyone to think that way as well.
N: At any rate, since everything concluded without incident.
A: Yeah!
