I still have the TV Life series on the individual Shiyagare segments left to do (and promise to finish), but I couldn't resist translating this one first because it's an interview with the producer for Aiba Manabu. I always love hearing what the staff they work with have to say about the members and this is no different, especially considering Aiba

It's just so refreshing (and so much fun) to watch Aiba Manabu since Aiba is my ichiban and learning is my favorite past time.

I agree with you; it is my favorite solo show as well! Also, Takahashi-san is right when he said that Aiba has gotten so much cooler recently!

That's so smart of him, I really love how fresh and natural Aiba behaves in this show. I think that's one of the main points I love about this show. He looks so happy doing it, I think he looks even more handsome than in any other show.

Ah, my favorite show <3 As you mentioned, i do see the consistency between the interview here and that of Aiba's segment in Arashi ni Shiyagare. I would never have thought of Aiba as a leader while he's with the rest of Arashi. But he certainly gives this leader-vibe while he's on these shows. It's so refreshing.

My favorite solo show too! (Sorry, Nino and Sho... ^^) I always get a fun and genuine/authentic vibe from Aiba when he's on variety shows (not that the others are not being "real", only that I see and feel it more coming from Aiba). It's not just his reactions and comments, but the way he carries himself, his curiosity, his genuine interest in the activities, and even how he looks at his co-stars/guests - he's so into it and he makes it look fun, which is what makes him a great variety show host and what makes viewers more engaged.

Also, I love when people say nice things about working with Arashi - how they're professional and care about the staff, etc. Thanks for translating!
