I changed up my Christmas theme this year! I couldn't find bright orange shatterproof ornaments and decor so I went with red this year instead (my blue stuff was already mostly good to go in the toddler-safe category).

Jessica's little brother Duncan, and his gf Amanda, had a baby a couple weeks ago - adorable little James Wesley. So I'm gonna be an aunt (thanks to Melisa & Jake)...baby is due December 21st (keep in mind Adrienne's bday is the 23rd and mine is the 24th!!)...I've started my auntly duties already of course, with project #1, the "baby greenleaf hat"

I was walking down the walkway to our door after work earlier and this little birdie on the ground didn't budge as I walked by. I came inside and grabbed the camera and went back out a good 5 minutes later and s/he was still sitting there in the same position. Didn't look injured.
