When is Kurt going to come back to McKinley? I love seeing him and those other cuties in their adorable blazers, but we never get to hear him sing anymore!

What is with the ads on LJ now?  They are so irritating.  I am currently working in a financial office and an ad that I had already closed just started talking to me!  I had to close the whole window because I couldn't find the volume button fast enough. 

I know I've posted about this before, but it's like an epidemic:  We are in a corporate environment, people -- audible and visible gum chomping/snapping/popping is unacceptable!  If I was boss, anyone who did that would be punished severely.

So the rumor is out there that George Clooney is dating Fatima Bhutto, a 26 year old Barnard grad (and niece of Benazir Bhutto)!!  I wonder if it's true.  Go Barnard women!  The gossip columns keep mentioning how smart she is.  She must have been there when we were.  Does anyone know her?

The price of my health insurance just went down for 2009!  That is amazing.  Apparently there was an administrative error that had made it $22/month more than it was supposed to be.  So now it's even a couple of dollars lower per month than it was in 2008.  How cool is that?!  Of course, the plan still blows and is expensive for what I'm getting, ( Read more... )

Did anyone see in the paper today that the mother of Nixzmary Brown (you know, the horrible child abuse case) received 10 more years in jail than the girl's father even though the father actually finally killed her by hitting her?!  I don't understand how this could have happened.  Her court-appointed defense attorney must have been crap.  I mean, ( Read more... )

I just read that spending on advertising is projected to go down more than a percentage point this year and almost 4% next year.  I hope that's not true as this directly affects my livelihood...Wouldn't more companies want/need to advertise to draw in the reluctant consumer during hard times?
