It's almost the end of the year for us jdrama viewing people here on LJ and with that in mind i decided to do the LJ Best of 2009 Jdrama Meme! In case anyone is wondering (or even if they remember), i did something similar for last year with Maou eventually coming out as the overall winner. boku no imoto and shiroi haru are soo underrated.i think theyre good. for drama of tht genre

I'm really sad that Majo Saiban and Triangle aren't doing better than that, they were possibly my favorites of the entire year. =( I kinda expected Meitantei to score low, but I still think it's brilliantly funny and should get points just for that. |D
And I cannot for the life of me understand what everyone loved about Buzzer Beat and Mei-chan! XD

Well, okay, I only watched Mei-chan of the two mentioned, but I liked the supporting cast, girls and butlers alike.

Good point- to be fair, I only made it through 3 episodes of Buzzer Beat so I shouldn't be so judgemental. XD
But I watched all of Mei-chan and just couldn't find anything about it I liked. I dunno, it might have been my strong dislike for Rihito that ruined it for me, but in the end I only liked 2 of the butlers and none of the girls, so I felt like I wasted my time. =/

Oh Shiroi Haru, Aishiteru and Ohitorisama are not doing so good :( But i'm mostly appalled that JIN isn't winning... Well I haven't watched Tokyo Dogs to know why that is happening, still it's a surprise for me. I agree on the other winners so far, though.

I'm having an ongoing love affair with Ninkyo Helper (I've watched it through 3 times already, I have a problem! D:). It was way better than Buzzer Beat, but I'm sure there are more fans of YamaPi on here than there are of Tsuyopon *sigh* :/

Other than that, the only ones I reeeeally enjoyed were Mr. Brain, Tokyo Dogs, and JIN.

I've only watched a handful of dramas from this year but I have to say I enjoyed Kiina the most. I started watching without expecting anything and ended up loving it a lot.
