[He did not like the recent weather. Heat he could handle. Storms, he would rather not. Overcast. Not his favorite. None of these were very agreeable to an old lion wishing to stretch out somewhere and relax. Thankfully he had shelter that helped with the first two of his annoyances.

[Jack's making his way down to the lake, carrying a huge pile of what looks like canvas. He can't see over the top of it.

Also--yeah, he's singing again, although this time quietly, to himself.]

[There's no mistaking that awful singing. Scar winced as ears flattened themselves against his skull as he hunched his shoulders. So much for a peaceful day. Curse his hearing.So of course he couldn't help but mutter.]

I have heard hippos that could sing better then you.

[Though what was the buffoon carrying? Whatever it is, Scar decided to attempt and find out. The fun way. A smirk made its way onto his features as he began stalking the pirate. ]

[By the edge of the lake, Jack finally drops his burden and flops down beside it. He's hot. He's tired. A swim in the lake is looking good, but he feels an urgent need to start sailmaking. He hasn't yet noticed the lion, nor does he realize he is being stalked.]

[Scar remained silently behind him, no more then a yard away, ears back and whiskers forward as his tail and wings twitched. The old lion tenses as a toothy grin appears on his muzzle.

Really this was too easy. It was hardly any fun. Really. One paw forward and claws dug into the ground as his body tensed.

Oh he wasn't going to hurt the filthy human. He imagined he wouldn't get the taste out of his mouth for weeks afterwords. He was just... paying him back for the little serenade from the last time they crossed paths.

Deep breath. And then.
