Fortified with maps, bus schedules and subway exits I ventured forth into the big city on my own. I ended up at the Museum of Natural History and spent the day hanging out with bones of all sorts of critters (mostly dinosaurs). They had a big evolution display going on up on the 4th floor and I managed to learn a few things as far as evolutionary ( Read more... )

Happy turkey day to you and yours! If you ever want to hit some stores here, let me know, I'm always up for having a life sized ken doll. *laughs* I don't always dress MYSELF so well, but other people, no problem!
Why is it I didn't know you were a Nightmare fan? Must be all the crack....anywhoo, if there is anything in particular you are looking for, let me know. I may have to sell some of my stuff online to help catch up on bills and it would be nice to give it a home with someone I actually know and like!

Considering they may want to repo my car, the chances are good that I'll be "cleaning house".

I'm so tired of this crap...

we have stores back home? heh - most of my non jeans&t-shirt clubwear comes from out of town. though comparing notes and an excursion through the backyard sounds fun

definately let me know if you are going to sell anything off - I'm not necessarily looking for anything in particular, but am all for giving stuff a good home.

Hope you had a good turkey day
*hugs*

i told you to watch out. there are lots of different trains that run on the same tracks and stop different places. as opposed to sensible places like madrid and barcelona where each train has its own color and its own track and as long as you're on the right color, it'll end up ok. new york needs to switch to that. none of this alphabet thing. it's pretty pesky. out of curiosity where did you wind up? or do you even know?

silly - the wandering was on foot, so we were never really that lost. We just ended up circling around Margarett's building until we were able to find it again.

As far as the subways went, I actually fared rather well - I even managed to figure out which ones were express trains when I wanted to go all sorts of long distances :}
