Housecleaning
Lately, with the help of my visiting mother, I've been engaging in what nellorat so aptly calls "habitat renewal."
When I had to move here in March 2004, we didn't have much lead time -- only a couple of weeks notice, plus I had just gotten out of the hospital after major surgery :P -- so we went for speed rather than organization in packing up my stuff. ( Read more... ) -

Okay, so I exaggerate. :) But I can't reach mom on the phone at my apartment, and when I call her cell phone it goes straight to voice mail. And then I tried to call dougs twice, but both times he couldn't hear me, even though I could hear him just fine.
