so we're giving M. a bath and i was holding her still naked til he could get a towel to dry her off. so of course what do you do for screaming revenge on mummy? commence the peeing. all down my stomach. so then we both got washed off again. i hope she thought it was worth it.

we were wrong at the shower. meghan is not 5 1/2 lbs like we thought, she got weighed yesterday and is 6 lbs 5 oz! she gained over a pound in two weeks. must come from eating like mad every two hours....

SO not leaving the house tomorrow.  got to walk 4 houses down to in-laws house which was fine, but grandma's we had to  drive to.  couldn't mke it up the hill to 79th, so turned back around once we slid back to our drive way to go down the hill. much better til we got stuck on 82nd and the nice lady who's lawn we almost plowed lent us shovels to ( Read more... )

so meghan got to come home yesterday! today is her first pediatrician appt. out in lee summit and i'm lucky if i got 3 hours sleep total. between the total hours of feeding and related activities, being a light sleeper anyway and now even lighter to hear all the monitor noises and just general worry of the first night home, i need about 12 hours ( Read more... )

you know your husband's family really loves you when they bring you Round Rock Donuts all the way from Austin Texas. both and aunt and a cousin have done this because they are made of awesome, as are the donuts.

not only is she in her big girl crib, she has all her monitors off! so when we're not there she gets wheeled into the regular nursery by the nurses' station so they can keep an eye on her and give her some snuggles. had one good mouth feeding today but couldn't make the other two i was there for work quite right, so they went through the tube again ( Read more... )
