If you had been to the mall with Schwulerin and I, you could have seen the grafitti in Marshall's dressing room. Unfortunately, Schwulerin and me didn't BOTH get to read it, only me. Someone had written: "Please don't vote for Bush. I don't want my son to go to Iraq." Someone ELSE wrote: "Then he shouldn't have volunteered. We need professional soldiers who know what they're doing." Someone else wrote, "I don't see Bush or Cheney's children fighting this war. Only poor kids." The kindly person who left the "He shouldn't have volunteered note" responded to that truism with, "You're ignorant and stupid." Nice. I really wish I could find that person and just beat the shit out of them. I'm not a violent person, but I'd really, really like to hurt someone who would respond to a mother's plea with "he shouldn't have volunteered." How dare you? I hope there's a hell.
Schwulerin and me both found Bunny to be amazingly humorous for a three year old. We put the rocks she gave Schwulerin and I on our baker's rack.

I must apologize for my life partner's brutality against the English language. I think I can help the situation by offering an explanation to clarify the examples you cited in your entry.
Whenever using an first person, singular pronoun in the nominative case (i.e. as the subject of a sentence) use the pronoun "I". When using the first person, singular in any objective case, such as an object of a verb or as an object of a preposition, use the pronoun "me."
I hope that lends itself to better grammatical structure for all.
Oh, how I wish you two lived closer. I suspect that hanging out at your house on a casual Saturday would be a hoot. I wish Bear would interact with me online like you two do with each other.
