Sorry to hear you're getting fed up with the scene and all :( I feel the same sometimes, it seems like more and more people just want to stay in with their bf/gf and never do anything fun. I mainly just feel sorry for people like that, because if they split up they're going to be the lonely ones, due to having virtually ignored their friends for years! Most of my friends are in their teens and early twenties these days. Anyway if I'm ever in Scotland again, we should definitely meet up.

Do you feel wierd having friends younger than yourself?
That is actually a small part of why I stopped going out. as people left and the years went on I kept making new friends and new groups to hand out with. but as the age of people starting to go out was about the same and I was getting older so the age gap between me and my current friends just grew. the laat group I used to make jokes about the fact the 2nd oldest was still 7 years younger than me. some were 11 years younger. I just looked into the future and realised that one day I'd be hanging around with people stupidly younger than me and it made me feel like a sad twat.
