I'm a bit out of practice, but I'm pleased with some of my drawings :-) I like the new venue (it has tiered seating so I can see if I'm not at the front, yay!) although the lighting wasn't great - I was sat pretty much in the middle and there was a row of lights at the front meaning there wasn't a lot of shadow or contrast to draw. The paper we sent off at the beginning of May has been rejected. I'm a bit annoyed about it, but we're amending the manuscript and will send it off to a different journal next week so fingers crossed it'll be accepted this time ( Read more... ) -
