I have random people friending me sometimes, but not that often. I don't bother to do anything to them, but sometimes I check out the journals of the other people to see if they're interesting and would want to friend them back. I figure they might find me from searching interests or seeing my posts in a community or something. Since I post publicly, I don't mind if they're reading it.

Often, the random people are Russian; if I check out their journal and it's new, or all their friends are Russian journals, I report them as a bot of some kind. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but if I'm right, then I don't have to worry about it as they'll eventually be banned.

Yes I still get that, even when it says on my profile page that i won't friend anyone back unless they leave a comment.

I don't have anything like that written, but I figure it was obvious. guess not!

Yeah, that grates on my nerves. I've only had it happen a few times, but I definitely won't add people like that back. :P

On December 5th Starrose17 will be 27 years old. However, if you've read her posts you'll know that she will be alone on that day, and we can not let that happen!
