It's as if, at this very moment, there is cement slowly hardening in my nasal resevoir and all other sinus-related paths and passageways. My mom's 14 year old parakeet, Licorice, fell off his perch. He had been starteld, I suppose, and lost his balance. Now his head is perpetually tilted to the right, and drooping, as if he's unable to hold it straight. So, I'm up early. Or rather, I haven't slept. I've been packing. I turn on the television and... The Critic comes on Comedy Central at 6:00 in the morning, and apparently plays until 8:00. The Critic! I thought they'd jettisoned it completely. Times like this I wish I had TiVo.
