ford essentially told me that my aesthetic was too strange. dated facial structure, skin too pale, hair too strangely coloured (and cut), eyebrows too thin ("let them grow in!" bah, i like pencil-thin harlow style ones, thank you)..... i was not found to be otherwise deformed, and they liked "my energy and personality," so i was ( Read more... )

People of the modelling world, whom I've been around, are sooo totally full of shit it's not funny.

It's like they use a mathematical formula to pick people, since they themselves are too scared to recognise beauty outside of their peer group's narrow field of view.

i bet if you just styled it a little differently, you could get it to look like fingerwaved or something; which is how i'd LOVE my hair to look!

hee, is the colour pretty? or how i shaped it? cause the colour is like..... 50% photoshop, silly.

i love your hair.
love.
the cut and the colour.
my features are not delicate enough for either.

[i'm 5'1. for reference?]

another stylist thought this cut wasn't right for my face, and she was right... but the person who initially styled it like this, cut it at two different lengths where it frames my face so it curves and doesn't fall straight... andandand, this is a stupid amount of detail. i shall stop now.
good: a stylist who knows what will look good on you.
BETTER: a stylist who knows how to manipulate your hair to such a fine degree that what wouldn't look good on you somehow does anyway.

5'1" .......... that's so fucking cute. [stuffs you in a box]
now i want to see what you look like! i hope and bet that you're cute as a button.

i have one of those better stylists.
when i show her a picture and say, i want this, she'll say, well how about we change this particular thing. because of your face or because of your hair or whatever. because my hair is so very very fine that most things i want need to be modified.

explaining hair always seems to require a lot of detail.

:D
the box thing made me laugh.
i used to post pictures all the time. then my computer broke :(
but! i got a new one. it's at home in pickering and when it's set up, there will be [too] many pictures once again. in the meantime, c'est moi.

mine's fine too. but i have a lot of it. BUT all together it's not as if my hair ends up thick. -__- ....it's so shamefully fun to waste time talking about hair, mwaha....

you are cute! like a people version of a siamese cat.
