Great update! I love that Nathan and Haley are slowly starting to build up their friendship, but the selfish part of me just wants Haley to give in so they can just make up already. Then on the other hand, I can't help but have a bad feeling that something's going to go wrong again. Blahhh, I don't know =/
dun dun DUN! And here it comes, THE TALK. lol probably the last thing on God's Green Earth that Nathan Scott wants to do at the moment. Oh well, he had to have known it would happen sooner or later. I'm still so in love with Pete, even the little glance we get of him in this chapter, you can see how protective he is of nathan, but not blind to his faults or mistakes. I think between him and this new found relationship he's got with Luke, Nathan's starting on the path we all knew he could be on if he'd just try. I'm glad to see Haley opening up to him, slowly but surely she's giving him an inch and he's taking it for what it's worth and not pushing her, as much, anymore. Great Chapter as always missy, can't wait to read more!
Great update hon :) I love that Haley is starting to open up to Nathan, even if it's just a little bit. It's good that he's not pushing her for more because she would freak out and start questioning everything. I'm glad that they are going to finally have the talk. Him laying everything out there may upset, but it's definitely something she needs to hear from him.
Pete is still awesome! It's good that Nathan has someone like him in his life. Pete will stick up for him, while still letting him know what he did was wrong.
Loved the Nathan/Luke scene. I'm so happy to see them slowly building a relationship. Not only will that be good for them, it should show Haley that if Luke can see how much Nathan has changed, she should see it too. Which I am glad that she did tell Nathan she has noticed he has changed, and doesn't care what job he has, none of that matters.
Okay enough of my rambling lol. Great job as always. Can't wait to read the next chapter, and see what goes down after they have had the talk :)
Thank you much! She's definitely starting to open and let go of her reservations some, but he's definitely learned not to push for too much. At least he's wised up to a certain degree, right?
Aw, I'm glad Pete is still awesome. I find him to be so , too!
I'm glad that you enjoyed the N/L scene. That was definitely my favorite part of this chapter, and I'm proud of how far those two have come. They were very far apart in the beginning, but they've definitely worked hard to get to the point where they are now, where they can be friends and maybe...maybe one day, brothers.
Oh, this is my favorite way to procrastinate an english paper :) Absolutely loved this chapter! I've missed Haley and Nathan just hanging out... although I'm not sure how this "talk" is going to go. Hopefully there's not too many casualties!
I adored the Luke/Nathan scene. Their relationship is one of my favorites, because it's so complicated, and can be interpreted in so many ways. I think you have captured their relationship perfectly, and I really enjoyed seeing their progress.
Glad I could help with the procrastination! I don't think the talk can go too poorly - let's face it, they've already hit their lowest point. They won't get back down there again, that's for sure.
Thank you! The N/L scene was my favorite of this chapter. I was so pleased with how it came out.
Ah midterms...I so do not miss them. Especially the math ones. :) Er, not to rub it in or anything!
Our little Nathan is all grown up, isn't he? Making these changes to his life definitely started out as being for Haley, but somewhere along the line he realized that it was more important to make them for himself. So he definitely has done that.
Haley's ready. Nathan is obviously not going away, and she's pleased with his relationship with Luke so she knows she'll see him a lot, so it's time to just face the music. That's what it's all about now for her. Hear the things she needs to hear, even if she doesn't like them, and then move on from there. She can be very determined, our Haley!

Hee, Pete's a pretty fun character to write. No dissembling, just cut through the BS and be on with your day kind of guy.
Thank you! More next Sunday!
