Anyone heard from Nocturnus33?

8.8-magnitude quake rocks Chile, sets off tsunami

Has anyone heard from nocturnus33? She was on vacation the last time I heard from her.

We heard from nocturnus33, and she's alive and well! No phone and no electricity but otherwise, they're okay.

~nods~ The last I knew they were on vacation at the beach. However, that was ten days ago, and I don't know if they were still there or if they'd moved on to somewhere else.

I'm just hoping that they're all okay. ~crosses fingers~

Not nearly far enough for comfort, no. But I just figured out that the beach town they were visiting was farther north than the box in the illustration, so that's one bit of (possibly) good news.

She was the first person I thought of when I saw the news this morning. My prayers are with her and her family and all those in Chile. Please, please let us know if you hear from her.

Yes, it's going to be tough to get news in or out right now, and you're absolutely right, she's smart and capable, and if anyone can figure out how to stay safe, it's her. ~keeps fingers crossed~

I thought of her immediately this morning after I heard the news. I'm sure it will be difficult for her to get word out for a time, because there are so many wires and communication lines down, but I'll be very relieved to hear some news.

I really hope they're all okay. ~worries~

Me, too, and I know you and melisande88 are right, and even if they're perfectly fine, it's entirely possible that there's just no way for her to get news out to us.

But I'll be very relieved to hear something, too.
