I had planned a soapbox rant, but geez, with all the crap that's been happening in US politics, I just don't feel like adding to the rant and rave atmosphere that's percolating out there ~waves hand around vaguely~ at the moment. Soooo, the rant has been tabled for the moment, and instead I'll offer snippets of what I've been up to lately

Best wishes for Cody and the volunteer situation. I work too much to make such a commitment, but hopefully you'll find someone good and dedicated. :)

Thank you! We're hoping that Cody will ultimately be okay, and as for the volunteer situation... Well, I have my fingers crossed for that, too. ;)

Thank you! I think it was a combination of inexperience on the part of a volunteer and inattentiveness on the part of the supervising vet. However, since they won't admit anything of the sort, it's just my speculation.
