No such thing as a free kitty... :(

Can they check for stroke?

Sorta, maybe, with an MRI. Apparently strokes are very rare in kitties, however. Thanks for the check in. :)

So sorry to hear about all the troubles. Could it be an ear infection? I know that sounds weird, but I get dizzy and wobbly with those! :)

Hopefully the neurologist will figure out what's going on (and hopefully it won't cost TOO much -- you and I can compare vet bills to see who "wins"!)

Good luck to you and Pippa!

That would be a good theory--I entertained it myself--but her symptoms pass almost immediately, which is not consistent, and when the vet checked her out, her ears seem fine. :)

Thanks. So far, not looking like a quick answer, but the sentiment is appreciated. :)

Thank you so much for the link. :) Yeah, our vet is pretty great although I mislike his politics a lot. Still, his care of the kitty has been very good. Pippa went to a neurologist this week... still inconclusive as I don't have $2,500 to drop on an MRI and a spinal tap. Right now, it's a waiting game and if the symptoms occur again and/or worsen, then I will reconsider.
