I rode on a horse for the first time in probably 10 years in Kansas. It was fat and short, and her name was Lulabelle or something like that I think. Rode kind of like a donkey, and wasn't very exciting. I almost felt like I needed to walk bow-legged afterwards...stretches you in all the wrong places ( Read more... )

Back to the story...July 5th. We slept in, and then went to a lake nearby to enjoy the murky depths from the comfort of Jetskis. Not all things go as planned, as one Jetski ate the towrope for the tube on the first run, and another nearly sank as it got waterlogged. Nonetheless, playing on the water was quite fun.
