Oh, it was all incredibly civilised. Ernie may claim that we were spreading outrageous, drunken lies about him, but it was all essential information Lavender really needed to know!

He's come over strangely shy about all this, has Ernie. It is very unlike him.

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realise you were feeling neglected. You seemed rather... occupied as it was! Didn't like to disturb you, and all that.
