soup gets a bit protective over his fix! and it makes smorgas want to clean himself.

i laughed hard when i saw that. i like the illicit shot of smorgas cleaning himself. does the catnip make their personalities bizarro?

yeah. haha. he smacks him and then totall gives him the stare-down. soup can be a badass sometimes.

the catnip doesn't really change their personalities...they just get stoned. i rubbed catnip into the scratching thing cuz i just mounted it and wanted them to start using it.

i don't know. too much. he's actually lost weight. we're working on it.

Eaton is on a weight loss plan, too, but it doesn't seem to be doing much good.

It's a three-pronged approach.

1) Reduced caloric intake, wherein I only feed him once a day and watch how much I feed him.
2) Exercise, wherein I yell at the dog, "Get the kitty!" and they wrestle.
3) Shame, wherein I refer to him as "Evil Fat Cat," a moniker to which he actually replies.

We're on the same three step plan...although I wouldn't call the third step "shame" as much as I would "peer pressure." And the exercise comes from a laser pointer.
