That name thing

Ever since we first started talking about having kids, William has always known what he wanted to have - a boy, and to name him ( Yeah, right. )

He is absolutely busting at the seams to tell the world those names.

I say for now we can just call them Vlad and Diablo. I'll let you have the Diabo name. I'm sure Jeremiah will understand.

Works for me, but if you get preggers again you can still use Diablo (or Diabla, in the event of another girl). There can never be too many Diablos.

I understand. And I understand where William is too- it's just so hard to contain the happiness sometimes. :) Plus you know what you're in for- he's got that cushion of inexperience ( ... )

I prefer the Seussical approach: Thing 1 and Thing 2

also totally relevant, prolly only for the first couple of months though ;)

I totally understand, that's why no one but us knew Cash's name until he was born & we never did share our chosen girl name because we still plan to use it if we have the opportunity. People who would criticize until the cows came home beforehand, when presented with a baby already named, will say "Oh, that's a nice name!" because it's a done deal. They don't feel like your mind can be changed.

Bartles and Jaymes? Penn and Teller?

Your logic makes tons of sense to me. "You're going to name him RENO?"
