I'm glad to read that it all went well. I was nervous for you.

I'm so horrified by it that I haven't been able to bring myself to do it yet.

I'm also being somewhat hyperbolic. It's huge in relation to someone with a singleton pregnancy at 15 weeks. It's right on target for twins; basically I look more like I'm about 20 weeks along. What bothers me more is the other effects of twin pregnancy weight gain - my ginormous (for me) boobs, the fact that I can feel my thighs touch at the top, and the fact that I can't bend straight over anymore to tie my shoes, shave my legs, paint my toenails, etc. I can't begin to imagine how bad this is going to get in the coming weeks.

I want to see progress pictures too!

Thanks for the detailed description, I found it really interesting to read. I fervently declined an amnio last time and more than likely will again, but I appreciate an honest description of one!

I am just loving these posts, truly I look forward to them! I'm still SO happy for y'all.

Oh, you can totally avoid seeing the needle if you want to. I just have a morbid medical curiosity about this stuff.
