Friday: Kids leave for CA for a week
Saturday: New couch and ottoman arrive!

I am so excited about this. That's what I call a birthday trifecta.

I didn't know you were getting new furniture. Fun!!!!

Yeah, we ordered it in early January. There's a chair and footstool coming too, but it isn't ready yet.

If you want them, they are yours (provided you could arrange to pick them up before the new ones are delivered) ... but I am not kidding when I say they have been scratched to death by Donner. He did a number on the armrests and backs of the couches. There are little claw holes all over and the back part of the couch is torn through on one side.

That's great, though. I don't want to get anything pristine right now when the kids are still so rough on furniture.

What would be good for you? I can get a truck over there either Friday evening (8ish) or Saturday morning (whenever).
