i so seldom have the patience to sit and wait . . . and to realize that what i think is important is not everyone's cup of tea. the memories of those older, more experienced travelers serve to show me that triviality has too occupying a place in my mind and that the reality of a life well lived is worth the time it takes to listen.

i like your thoughts.

I was thinking along the same lines yesterday when I was looking at your grandpa's book. I want to learn about my opa and stuff, but I can't really. The book he wrote is in German, and even though I would understand some I wouldn't understand nearly all of it. Old people truly are a blessing.
