I'm sorry about the dual-degree program, Barret. I know I have definitely felt the "I knew it was competitive but I was still sort-of counting on it..." type of disappointment, it's no fun. I hope you get just as excited about one of the many other programs available to you (sticking with the advice you once gave me :) ). I might venture to imagine you could be successful with one of those, too :)

New England Conservatory - they're interesting, but I wouldn't go there with the choices I already have! So it doesn't really matter if they don't send me anything. They'd just be dumb.
