The music scene over here is wonderful! I've been going to a lot of concerts, and I'm amazed at how well-supported it is by the public. If only we had this kind of mentality over in the States... Even though some of the music is garbled and over-intellectualized, it's still there as a prominent cultural entity, and people are so proud of their

Man, I know! When I was in Europe, all the venues were packed when we sang. It was so weird coming from a Seattle, where we usually just manage to fill our venues, having thousands and thousands of people come to hear you sing. And then having them come up afterwards and say how beautiful it was. No one really does that here. I want to live in Europe.

Definitely. It's too bad we can't tranplant a Berlin into Washington somehow...!

not to mention that Europe has a much better metal scene ;-)
you should go to a blind guardian concert if they have one. On the other hand, i'm not sure how much you would enjoy awesome german-band power metal. If I see a good band is going to berlin, I'll mention it, just so you can come up with a creative way to tell me that it isn't really your thing.
