I just got another letter from Indiana U today and I received an assistantship with tuition waver and stipend. So, I've got that worry off my shoulders. Now all I have to do is figure out this thesis thing while I'm doing my assistantship stuff and school work.

I was doing a bit of work for my professor today and one sort of off the wall topic was on drug trafficing in the Czech Republic. So, I am searching online in journals and really don't find much. I just got my letter from Indiana University (Bloomington) yesterday about my acceptance to the MPH program. Fortunately, it was indeed an acceptance letter, so I'm in the program. Well, damn MySpace deleted my account for copyright infringement. First they warned me about a video I had uploaded without even telling me what it was and told me not to upload it again. I'm taking steps of limiting my milk and red meat consumption. Is this for my health or because I care about the animals? Nope, I exercise enough that I'm healthy and those animals are delicious. The end of this past semester was really killer where one of the three stats class I was taking got me a C; I think my professor was being nice to me even. That was a lot of ANOVA, but I can't say that I regret taking the course as it somewhat changed the way I look at statistics ( Read more... )

After a lot of worry, I finally have an assistantship confirmed. Luckily, I had a professor that was working hard to keep me around. Otherwise, even my loans and a possible job wouldn’t sum to enough to cover tuition and living expenses.
