I just got a call from the Club of Mountain View. Apparently I am "past due" with them. They suck. I canceled my membership with them in JANUARY. It would have been earlier but they take extra time after they receive the letter and access card to wind everything up. What kind of martial art?

I've been taking Aikido classes at a place in Redwood City, but I'm not really enjoying myself there, so I'm in the market for good places to train.

I was once handed over to a collection agency for failure to pay a gym (in Dallas) after they failed to honor their break the contract after a demo period clause.

The only time it had any effect on my credit was when I bought a house. Even then, the phrase "it was a gym" seemed to just make the problem go away.

Still, being handed over to a collection agency SUCKS. They are impossible to deal with. Eventually I had to use the phrase "He died".
