lexicon

I would guess that in Obama's first week, the number of different words used in his speeches exceeds the breadth of Bush's lexicon (which he had 8 years to develop, which we suffered through).

I daresay you're right, Schramm. Isn't it refreshing to hear someone at the top speak so articulately? I used to CRINGE everytime W would speak, just waiting for the next gaff. I'd hear leaders from "third world" nations speak, and they all sounded so much more intelligent and literate than the leader of the free world. It just used to gall me to sufffer through yet one more bungled Bush communique. Obama is like a breath of fresh air! And I like the way he's hit the ground running. I'm feeling real good about him!

Well, in his defense, Bush -did- have that vast array of imaginary words and grammar at his disposal that Obama lacks.

And our poor comedians! They're having a really difficult time without good ol' George!

I have to go put food on my family and coexist peacefully with the fish now.
