You're so right, and this kind of treatment of McGee is very frustrating and depressing to see. A lot of things in Pyramid rubbed me the wrong way, and I'm really not sure if I'm looking forward to S9. :\

It's strange to be so wary of the new season for McGee reasons when the loudest voice are all about Tony, Tony & Gibbs, Ziva, or Ziva & Tony.

I also don't like that new storyline with the mole. We already had that. But I read spoilers that the mole will already be revealed in the first episode of the new season. So maybe (hopefully?) it's just a short arc and we'll get to new stuff soon in the season.

And I want more McGee. Out of the office. Can't be too tough. All the work McGee is doing can also be done by Tony or Ziva. They've done it before, they could do it again. But it's easier to give all that work to McGee while they're usually out in the field. :/ I kinda hope Sean will ask for more work out in the field for his character.

I just don't know what to think of s9 if it's continuing like this. And that's what's bugging me. :/

GG is the worst thing that could happen to NCIS. The dude doesn't know the characters and I agree with you, he doesn't know how to close and create arcs.

I'm still looking forward for next season. I like NCIS but if I'm honest McGee is my favorite and the moment the tptb decide to let him go, I'm over.
