I'm convinced that either Apple or Oprah is the Anti-Christ. Think about it; mass followings, charismatic/seductive, easily able to part people from their sensibilities (remember the Iphone launch and Oprah's favorite things list?) hmmmmmm....

See, and here I just thought that Apple was doing a really good job of tapping into the zeitgeist or some damn thing! I even have a whole topic on how the views of science fiction writers of yesterday have (are) having their visions brought to life by hordes of geeks who now run everything...

As for Oprah, well, I live in Chicago, and to paraphrase Chris Rock: You don't mess with Oprah. She's a black woman with 40 billion dollars, you do NOT mess with Oprah!
